Meet our Staff
Greenbriar Animal Hospital is a close-knit family of technicians and receptionists who have worked together for years. Our family's goal is to keep yours happy and healthy.
Jennifer has worked as a technician and receptionist at Greenbriar since 2006. She is a primary contact for G.R.E.A.T. (Golden Retriever) Rescue questions. Before coming to Greenbriar, Jenn worked as the head technician for Idexx Laboratories. She continues to serve as our "lab queen" and head tech. She has a gift for finding and identifying various lumps on dogs. Jenn is a proud mother of two boys, one cat and two dogs.
Mary began volunteering at Greenbriar Animal Hospital in 2011 and officially joined the GAH team in January of 2018. She recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in medical sociology. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. Mary owns a golden retriever named Maggie Mae along with two cats named Lola and Bella.
As a veterinary technician, Colin has worked in the field since 2014 and has gained the knowledge and skills working with everything from small animals to exotic pets to sanctuary wildlife. Having a newly discovered passion for veterinary medicine, he wants to continue his education and become a veterinarian while working with the fantastic group of people at Greenbriar Animal Hospital. Outside of work he enjoys above all else spending time with his partner, Teryann, and their two 4 year old sons, Mason and Leon. While unconventional, Colin has 5 pets, all of which are various reptiles including leopard geckos, a bearded dragon, a savannah monitor, and a carpet python.
Since Sara was a little girl she was always interested in learning about animals and helping the ones in need. In 2014 she started as a veterinary technician to fulfill both of those interests, and eventually moved to St. Johns and brought her abilities and energy to Greenbriar Animal Hospital. She has a 6 year old Blue Nose Pit Bull named Bentley whom she loves to spend her spare time with at the beach or by the pool.
Alissa holds a Bachelors degree in Marine Science and Biology from Jacksonville University. She plans to continue her education in the biological sciences and is interested in conducting field research in Bioacoustics. Alissa owns two Shiba Inus and a Bearded Dragon.
Kim is the newest member to the Greenbriar family. She has been a Veterinary Technician for over 10 years. She started her career in 2008 as an emergency veterinary technician. She broadened her experience in 2010 and began working in a speciality clinic as an Internal Medicine veterinary technician. Her professional interests include emergency medicine , surgery and helping all of our doctors and staff provide the best possible care for all of our patients. Kim has lived in Jacksonville her whole life and loves her city. Though working with furry friends is what she does best, in her spare time Kim is a photographer. Kim and her partner Jordan, have 2 beautiful daughters, Presley and Freya, and a chocolate lab named Chessie Wiggles.
Head receptionist Lisa, joined Dr. Oglesby at Greenbriar Animal Hospital in 1999. Lisa is responsible for patient medical records, new client forms and regular receptionist duties. She has led many digital improvements in the front office. Lisa enjoys her three Dachshunds, her Maine Coon cat and dressage training/showing her wonderful Friesians.
Becky has been a member of our front staff since December of 2003! Retired from Bell South after 30 years, hers is usually the first smiling face you will see when entering our clinic. She is proud of her southern cooking and her two Chihuahuas, Teka, aka Landshark, and Naylor, and her two cats, Cookie and Jodi, all rescues.
A veterinary technician for over 12 years, Teri loves animals of all varieties, even raising monkeys as a child. Teri is a technician and receptionist at Greenbriar since 2008. She loves being in a clinic with our "great group of people". In her spare time, Teri loves to garden and cook. She also enjoys photography and listening to music. Teri takes pride in volunteering with many organizations.
Jessica has been a client at Greenbriar since 1999. She came on as a receptionist in 2018. She loves camping and hiking with her husband Earl , her chocolate lab Hayden and her golden retriever Liefie. She enjoys fishing and kayaking. In her spare time she likes to bake unique cheesecakes and practice quilling, which is an art that dates back to the Renaissance.
